Here are pix of the boxes I made for the women in our family for Christmas. I so enjoyed making them, putting special tokens and pix for each one. They were very appreciative, I'm so lucky they all know how much work and love went into them.
A flea market frame dressed up with a pretty CQ block.
I decided to submit a picture of something that I created. It is kind of different, but I have wanted to do this sort of thing for a long time and just recently finished my first piece in a line of patterns that I am planning on doing. It is a little like "crazy quilting", but more like "crazy stitching." The background for the heart was hand drawn by me with all the stitches and embroidery on the pattern. It is one piece of fabric, although it looks like several. I then used my coloring technique with Bubble Jet to make it colorfast and then printed on my printer. I think it turned out lovely and very different and I would like
to share it with your readers.

The first 2 photos are of an ongoing project of my Xmas piece for a crazy quilt. It is not encircled with a finished border yet. It is comprised so far, of cotton Xmas fabrics, velvets, rick-rack, original embroidery, ribbons & lace, and tiny red & white beads. The highlights of course are my embroidered holly leaves & poinsettia.
This is a piece which will eventually go into the crazy quilt
(But it will not be side by side with the first one) or it will be framed as one piece of quilting. I call it The Chicken Piece This piece is composed of mostly natural colors; I use velvet, cotton, wool, and other scraps of fabric which I have gathered over time. I make use of big ribbons as well. It is obviously unfinished as border pieces are pinned and not sewn on yet. Of course the focal point of
which I am proud, is the flock of chickens in the yard, an original design that I made from scratch. Ha ha. I need to add at least one scratching chicken!!
This is a quilt I made, It is a tribute to my mother she made the bobbin lace and I made the quilt . "Crazy Quilted Circles and Lace"
Here is a picture of my recent block. I made it for Sharon Boggon's online class from February to April. I put it a title of "Summer Breeze". Please use for the Readers Showcase. I will be happy.
This is a silly thing, It's my crazy quilt Easter egg.
This is a crazy patchwork heart I made for my auntie's 80th Birthday. The photo is of my auntie and uncle.
Some Porcelain half dolls I made this year. The doll dressed blue with yellow SRE roses is "Abby"

I am submitting this as a novice. I made the square in a CQ class offered through Joggles.com and taught by SharonB.
I have attached two photos for CQ Readers Showcase.
Here is a photo of a little purse I made for my former boss at work who is Scottish and loves all things Scottish. It measures approximately 2 ½ inches x 3 ½ inches and is lined in red tartan taffeta and backed in a black suede. Needless to say, she loved it. The tartan pieces were all about the size of postage stamps.
Here is a small quilt I did for the "Threads across Nebraska" show held in Oct. 2005.
A close-up of the corner.
