| This year, the EGA National Seminar and the deadline for the October
issue collided. I was worried that we would have trouble getting this
issue out on time, but thanks to my loyal assistant editor and gracious
staff, we were able to get things processed and edited in a timely manner,
despite my ill-timed trip to Pittsburgh. Sometimes things just work
out, even when you are worried that they will not.
As an added bonus, while I was at seminar, I found and purchased an
antique crazy quilt from a fellow EGA member at Merchandise Mart. I
look forward to writing several articles while I document the quilt blocks,
so that I can share the bounty.
In keeping with tradition, we are pleased to offer some
wonderful projects that would make excellent gifts for crazy quilters and
the people they love. From a traditional crazy quilted stocking to a
CQ covered tin, there are several projects to inspire you. There are
also some excellent articles on technique to entice you. Regardless of
the holiday you celebrate, I hope this issue will bring you some joy.
I hope you will enjoy this issue and share photos of anything you are
inspired to create.
